Imagine 70+ years of darkness in your family including some of the most unthinkable acts. On January 15, 1947, the gruesomely murdered body of Elizabeth Short (also known as the Black Dahlia) was found in Los Angeles. Rasha and Yvette’s great grandfather, George Hodel was a suspect in the murder, and he was accused of other horrendous acts including incest with his daughter, Tamar Hodel. In this episode. Rasha and Yvette tell the story of their dark family past and the journey to sharing their mom, Fauna Hodel’s story of finding light through the darkness in the incredible TV series, I am the Night starring Chris Pine, India Eisley, and Jefferson Mays. More importantly, they open up about their personal growth to find healing and bring light to others. They are the definition of born unbreakable.
